the State of Oregon DHS/Seniors and People
with disabilities.
Assisted Living Facilities in Oregon are not
required to have licensed registered nurses on
staff 24/7.
Direct caregivers experience, credentials and required duties will vary from facility to facility. The
State of Oregon does not require ALF caregivers to be certified, but caregiver training prior to
servicing residents is mandatory.
